This was really excellent, Alexander and, as the other comments have mentioned, the audio was really atmospheric and added an extra layer to the story telling
Thanks, Chloe! Much appreciated. Another podcast vote! I will have to put on my thinking cap and see what emerges. I did initially think it would be a longer story.

Wow! This is exactly what I envision for The Artifact: Of course, there will continue to be the written word and audio narration, and I had planned to add an e-book compilation of my stories, but the audio/visual experience is one I had only dreamed of. I absolutely love what you have created here!
Thank you, David. Much appreciated, and I am happy to see that, you, too, do photography and VO! At some point, I would like to go back and put all the episodes together and do a full AV version, graphic novel style, once I am done with E04 and E05. Thanks again for joining and reading/listening. Hope you'll enjoy TFTD!
Thanks, Carolyn! Much appreciated. Glad to know you found this via a recommendation! If you liked this one, there is a continuation available now "The Signal", albeit I had little time for the recording so it's only narration without ambient effects for now.

I enjoyed this a lot, Alexander, after a day spent at work it was the best way to relax in the evening. You have a great voice for audio and you're a great narrator. I also liked the audio effects. I'm looking forward to more audio fiction. The visual effects are also cool, but I must say that I closed my eyes and thoroughly enjoyed the audio experience. Great story!
Thanks a lot, Claudia! It stands to reason that imagination trumps images! Glad you enjoyed it. Audio effects can at times be jarring esp. with audio book productions.
The fact that my mind is actively engaged draws me in. It was a very vivid narration and at the same time calming. And you're right, the audio effects needs to be used with care and knowingly in such productions otherwise they can overwhelm the listener. You stroke a very good balance overall. 👏
As with many things, less is more. I could have spent more time on the mix itself, spatial audio etc. but I spent a lot of time on it as is. Learning the editing software little by little ;)
I do not know but I shall! Thanks, Claudia. From a quick first listen, this is a high production value. Very nice. Lots of work :) I wanted a CNN news cast about the Maker Disciples overrun towns during the second part of the story when the second narrator recounts what happened. Next time.
Yes, these guys invested about $4,000 per episode in production in the hopes that is it takes on it will strike big. Which it did. But they also started from nothing with just an idea. They have an audio movie as well and a documentary. I simply like the whole concept.
But you did a fantastic job! Even my husband loved the audio.
I loved this tale the first time around, but with the deep tones there comes an added layer of atmosphere and mystery. You have a lovely knack for voiceover.

Well done 👍🏼
Thanks, Daniel! Glad you found it appealing. More to come!
Not only is the voiceover great, but the background noise adds another layer of immersion. Nice work!
Thank you, David! Glad you like it.
This sounds amazing! Totally agree with Kathleen that it would make a great podcast

Wow, this is a great recording! Would make a good podcast...
Thanks, Kathleen! A podcast! Now there's an idea. The story could certainly continue! Glad you like it!
Yes! What a great idea.
TMWWD Podcast?! Three projects at the same time? 4 if you count the 1984 Audio Book! Madness! 😅
That's what we're here for. The madness!
And hey, it was Kate's idea 😝
It is a great idea! Can’t argue there.

I found you through someone else's recommendation...
This piece was awesome! I loved your voice while you read the words, and the background sounds really brought it all to life. Awesome work!

I'll have to check it out, thanks Alexander.
Anytime. My pleasure!
I loved the unsettling sound effects - but I enjoyed the voice of the narrator even more! Wow! 👏👏👏
Thanks, Daniel. Glad you like my narration. More to come!

You did a fantastic job. Do you know Limetown? It's a fiction podcast I love: https://twoupproductions.com/limetown/podcast

Lots of plans!!!

This was great, Alexander!
Thanks, Priya!
Incredibly well done! I love the story, and your audio is superb!
Thank you, Shaina! Much appreciated. More audio to come!
