The Jacket

You pause, reaching out a hand. It’s a man’s jacket, dark in colour, made of leather. You feel at the pockets. There’s something heavy and lumpy in the left pocket, but without reaching in you can’t work out what it is.

Do you reach into the pocket, or ignore the item and proceed to the kitchen?
