Well, the Substack podcast feature is basic. It won't help with "running" it as Substack is mainly a newsletter platform, and as such, can help distribute it, which is an issue for this one since I am not sending out emails for War and Peace, meaning less than 1% of my subscribers will see it. If Substack had a notification system like YouTube it would be possible to run a podcast that doesn't rely on sending email daily to readers/viewers. I thought I could use the Substack RSS feed to ingest episodes automatically to YouTube but it turns out Substack does not support that at this time, so I have to do it manually on both platforms, or I could use any of the other podcast platforms that support ingestion.
Does Substack make it easy for creators to run a podcast? I am asking because I plan on running one.
