Brilliantly done Alexander 👏

I really enjoyed this story and would be intrigued to read more from these characters and this world. Hopefully you return to it

Really excited about the Carter book. Keep me posted as I’ll be ordering it for sure. If I get in early do I get a signed copy? 😁

Thanks, Daniel. I have pondered a longer exploration of this theme some time down the road. Who is our hunter? How did he become a hunter? What/who is he hunting and why? He has arrived at a crucial point in his life… there’s much to tell. Of what has come before and what follows after.

Glad to hear you’re excited about Carter. A signed copy? With pleasure! I will be posting more on this and where to order soon. I’m in that ‘can’t believe until I see it phase’ right now…

Really loved this. Vivid and dark tone, with excellent internal voice. As Nadia says, chilling and conflicting!

I love the implicitness within the story in regards to people getting murdered for being so-called monsters. The thought of it is chilling and conflicting. Love love love it, Alexander!

Interesting, and beautifully narrated, Alexander. The scene carries the intensity of live action, as if out of VR. At least that's what it did to me. :)

Personally, I loved this story just as it is. I need no back story, no explanation, no continuation. What is important to me here is that he doubted, he questioned and he made a choice. Something we all must do.... and sooner more than later. Excellent, as always, Alexander. You know I am a fan.

Thanks, Sharron! Glad you liked it. You're spot on, we all must question, undoubtedly.

Woah, super creepy and well executed!

I find it so difficult to write in present tense, but you do it well and manage to make the chronology purposefully vague at the end. Great writing, Alexander!

Thanks, Kate! I started out with past tense but after the first sentence switched to present tense, for more immediacy. The switch back to past tense in the last paragraph... I wondered if I would get a way with it. I liked it better that way, so I went with it.
