I was 3 times in Ubud and was afraid of visiting The Monkey Forest until my 3rd trip because of all the monkey stories I had heard. One yoga girl even said a monkey lifted her foot to steal her flip flop. 🩴
Fortunately the visit didn’t involve any such monkey business for me.

Yeah, Substack is taking a backseat. The water damage situation is tricky. No one wants to do anything, insurance says the building management has to investigate and they say the insurance has to do it. Typical ping pong and no one is doing anything. Damages are around 5k so far and the room can’t be used for months to come…
