Have there really already been 12?? How time flies.

Like Daniel, I now know what bokeh is. And I like it. Very impressive and festive indeed. I had to hunt for that rail for a moment in the second image. 👏

Glorious.

Time flies! Thanks, Nathan, glad you enjoyed them. Bokeh will be a recurring thing in future issues, no doubt. ;)

Well, I have to say I love Bokeh even though I’ve just found out what it is! Those are the kind of images you see in festive movies or TV shows that make it feel like Christmas 🎅🏻

These Foto Friday’s have been great, Alexander. Not only for the actual photographs, but I’ve also learned so much about the skill and art of photography so thanks for all of them

Driving home for Christmas is in the top two Christmas songs for me along with Fairytale of New York. Just a great song on its own terms never mind being about Christmas so you’ve given me a great excuse to listen to it again 👍🏼😁

Glad you enjoyed them, Daniel. I do like Chris Rea, Josephine is another great song, there are many of course and as you say, a great song either way.

I love bokeh! You captured real nice ones. Anyway, I want more photographs! Why you take them away?! Also, did you watch Violent Night? Another nice Bad-ish santa film. I love Krampus. Did you put on your shoes yet?

I shall put on my shoes, presently! Violent Night (2022), no I have not. I shall, though! Thanks for that. And FF will continue... you get 12 juicy FF issues in 2024!

Bokeh! when I saw it in the subtitle, I thought it was some kind of slang I was not 'in' on. This is an amazing word. I always love when photographs do that and had no idea. I guess you could use it for a metaphor in writing - too close to see something clearly or a character moving between perspectives and blurring in between. Love the photos!

Thanks, Kate! Yes, indeed, you could say "aperture" is akin to the character's awareness of their surroundings, their (limited) point of view, which leaves details obscured, blurred and only the omniscient (f/22) sees all.

Oooh yes! 25% off the 50mm Trioplan, too at the moment. Hmm.... tempting! Still 600 bucks. 600 bucks less than my 35mm though. Bokehlicious! (https://www.meyer-optik-goerlitz.com/media/image/47/ba/f8/Trioplan50II_20.jpg)
