Very nice, Alexander! I like the digital for the color but prefer the analog. I definitely like the older analog music to today's digital. "Nyctophobia" - cool word. Thanks!
Thanks, James! Analog for us all the way, albeit I caved in 2009 and went digital for photos, film is so expensive! 😂 If I had a better source to scan from, I think the analog would be on par colour-wise. I did some denoise and retouching to get rid of most of the dust and specks but a print only offers so much detail when scanned.
Thanks, Taegan. Much appreciated. It took some time to settle on a song. There are a few choices from 1991, browsing through my CDs... Metallica was right next to Massive Attack 😂
Two great pictures, Alexander. Analog wins it for me. Randomly one of my friends is in Santorini right now and keeps telling me what a paradise it is. Never been myself but really need to make the effort
Massive Attack are a favourite in this house. My wife introduced me to them 25 years ago so they always remind me of her. Also, as you mentioned Metallica in another post, we’re off to see them in 2 weeks at Power Trip so can’t wait for that!
Thanks, Daniel! Santorini is a must at least once. I prefer Naxos, personally. And yes, when choosing the song, I almost chose Enter Sandman (1991), the two CDs were in close proximity. You going to see Metallica! That is megageil! :)
Life's marching band. Yes, you can get lost in these photos. It's a reminder how small we are, and yet how much beautiful power there is in the world. This is a fun Friday ritual now!
I’m really enjoying this series!
Thank you, Priya! Glad you enjoy it.

I think you know a lot more about photography than I do. : )
Thanks! But I know there’s countless others who know way more than me! 😅
Agreed. Such a great word!
A lot of love for the analog in here 😊
All the best words are analog words! I mean, analog is nice!
These shots are silky and vivid. I appreciate this series and the stories that go along with them. Also, Massive Attack - I’m in heaven. Great work

Silky and vivid 😍 Perfect description.
Analog for sure. They are both stunning but those wavelets on the analog version are just awesome pretty.
Thanks, Jenny. Yes, I was very happy with how the analog shot turned out, had it developed as a poster, still have it.
I think I'd have to agree too, Jenny. They are both fantastic, but the *something* of the analogue one is 👌👌
Loving the new series, Alexander. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Nathan. Analog has that certain je ne sais quoi! ;)
Sure does!
Massive Attack and these photos--what a pairing! ❤️
Thanks, Holly, glad you enjoyed it!

I like the second one, digital. Nice story.
A vote for digital! Thanks, Tom! I love 'em both. 😁

Thank you, Kate! Gotta have some fun, esp. on a Friday! Glad you like it. Trying to keep it light while giving some substance to absorb and ponder.
