With the bottle of whiskey in your hand, you swing wildly, yelling at the top of your lungs. You swing the bottle in a wide arc, suddenly connecting with a loud thud - the target of your attack crashes to the floor.
“Johnny, is that you?” The voice of an old woman comes from the stairway.
“S-stay back, Mum! There’s been a break-in,” you say, lacking confidence as you’re not certain if you should be included as one who has broken in.
“I’ve already phoned the police,” the woman says, shuffling into the kitchen with her slippered feet, a small, ornately decorated lighter held out in front of her.
“Johnny, I’m so glad you came home.”
“Mum? I-I’m afraid I’m not your…”
Flashing blue lights appear outside the kitchen window.
The police arrive and take you into custody. You probably should have been more careful about what house you walked into.
You’ve been arrested.
