Crossing the portal, you feel a change. You only have a moment to realise you’re no longer craving the taste of grey matter before you plunge into a pool of white liquid.
Spluttering, you emerge and look around. The milky pond is surrounded by creatures of all different shapes and sizes, sipping at its edges.
“Let’s get out of here,” a voice next to you says.
Turning to your left, you see that it’s a second head attached to your body.
“No, I want to stay.” You turn to your right and see another head on top of your shoulders.
The portal is rapidly closing behind you.
